You can’t predict the future by looking at the past facts are technology evolves, and things change with new discoveries. In the past 30 years nanotech wasn’t even a thing; or it was just too expensive to do, now it is actually possible.

Predicting the future is fraught with challenges, but when it comes to technological advances and forward thinking, experts working at the Pentagon’s research agency may be the best people to ask.
