“The Best Things in Life Are Free” is a song popularized by the 2 multi awarded singers Luther Vandross and Janet Jackson, first recorded for the Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis-produced soundtrack to the 1992 film, Mo’ Money, starred by Damon Wayans.Well enough with the introduction because in real life, there is no such thing are free. There are certain state of mind that there are things that cost nothing that can improve your life. Well! it was just a “Utopia”, for everything has a price even the things we call priceless has a price lets’ face that facts: All the things you want cost money being alive costs people so much money. You need shelter and you want to live in a beautiful house in a very nice area, you have to pay for it. You want nice food and you want to go out to dinner with your partner for a nice t-bone you have to pay for it. You want to go somewhere with your love ones, you need money for your fare. Just living alone could costs us so much money nothing in life is ever free, there is always a cost. When dealing with love and relationships, it costs certain freedoms. For some who may be in controlling relationships, it could cost them friendships. Having a family costs personal time. Granted, you could schedule personal time but it’s not as easy as it would be prior to having a family. Cars, homes and the like all cost money, so let us live with it accept that everything in life has a prices, for money is needed for a majority of everyone desires.
Even salvation we called free is not really free because you need to work for it, if you believe in Jesus you need to repent. Repentance and not to sin again is the price you have to pay for you to be save and have that salvation you desire.
For me. “The Best Things in Life Are Free” is just a” catch phrase” for a Marketer to lure their target market to patronize the product that they are promoting, because even the product they are giving away has also a cost, it was part of the company’s marketing plan that involves planning and budgeting in which their main objective was to penetrate and lure their target market.-Jhmenor
If the best things in life are free why we aren’t happy? You should watch the movie below for you to understand..
Words to live by:
“If you only had 48 hours left to live, would you spend it like you normally spend your weekends? If not, why spend 2/7th of your life wasting your free time? After all, free time isn’t free. Free time is the most expensive time you have, because nobody pays for it but you. But that also makes it the most valuable time you have, as you alone stand to reap the profits from spending it wisely.” ― Jarod Kintz
